Kalemnitka background and explanation.

Kalemnitka has always had Portuguese influence! That its position on the Imagi-Africa map roughly coincides with that of Mozambique makes the previous statement almost a foregone conclusion.

[Consider that the Portuguese had designs on linking Mozambique and Angola via a land bridge that included Zambia and Rhodesia.]

As you would expect, there is almost no sign of a significant external sponsor.
The various European intelligence agencies believe there is evidence of some 'assistance' from the southern end of Warsaw Pact. Exactly, what, how or when is very much conjecture.
CIA sources have refused to accept the viability of an external sponsor.

Sadly, the UN (by Security Council veto) has also placed very little credence on Kalemnitka's claims of the multitudes of cross-border incursions from Hembabwe and East Mbazzahoui, with disguised (or not?) support from Jenkinesia and/or Zeebia and/or West Azenia.

As has been suggested, the basis of the Kalemnitkan Air Force follows the Portuguese model (with a tweak :) ), G91s, Douglas Invaders, Dornier Do27s, Alouettes, …........... Cessna/Reims 337 (O-2s/Rhodesian Lynxs), …....... and possibly F-5s.

While the Kalemnitka Air Force is content with using G-91s, the availability of F-5s is too good to “knock back”!

As for the land forces, these possibly have a selection of:- M5s and M24s, some AML-90s (and/or AML-60s), some AMX-10Ps (source undisclosed) , Ferret 1s (and/or Ferret 2s), Humber scout and armoured cars.

There is also a navy, both blue and brown water. Most of the brown water navy is based on various British and American WW2-era landing craft – LCAs, LCVP & LCMs. The blue water navy is undisclosed.

So what does Kalemnitka intend to do with 'what once was called' Hembabwe and East Mbazzahoui?
While the economy of Kalemnitka has been severely stretched by the annexation of West and South Kalemnitka, there is also, no doubt, that there are definite benefits. Most of these benefits have been provided by the natural resources of these 2 counties.

Fortunately, due to the speed of the takeover, very little of either counties' infrastructure was damaged.

The economic benefits that have resulted from the merging are quite significant and make the answer to the question fairly obvious. That the cross-border military incursions are no longer occurring purely reinforces the decision.
